Traumatic Cataract

Here is a fine example of a traumatic cataract. The person sustained an accidental blow to the right eye 30 years ago. The pupil was also damaged. It remains dilated and unreactive to light. The lens appears dislocated. The longer term complication with this sort of injury is that the eye pressure can rise to quite high levels.
