Corneal Graft
This is one of my favourite anterior eye photos. It shows the edge of a corneal graft. This person needed a corneal graft due to advanced Fuch's dystrophy; an endothelial corneal dystrophy that can cloud the cornea if it gets going. The interesting thing about this photo is that a stitch has broken and you can see the loose ends. He was noticing a prickling foreign body sensation and his vision with his spectacles had gone suddenly blurry, because when the stitch broke, his cornea suddenly changed its shape.
